The special issue on Sharing Economy Enabled Digital Platforms for Development focuses an investigation of emerging form collaborative consumption, known as sharing economy. This aims to address several issues regarding important and novel research questions, analytical approaches, understand how the economy brings about economic, social, environmental development. After articulating motivations that led us launch this call, we first outline ecosystem its impact sustainable Secondly, propose a framework development connect all aspects ecosystem. Finally, summarize eight papers in collection. These mainly focus developing regions. accepted investigate factors influencing SEDPs development, individuals’ intention engage economy, related trust, privacy, regulatory issues.
